Want to be more consistent on social? Schedule a recurring appointment on your calendar (repeat weekly) to map out the content for the week ahead! Here are our 10 Steps for Creating Consistent Content on Social Media 

Want to grow as a business owner? First, accept that your success is your responsibility. Invest in your learning, read books, listen to podcasts, invest in a course to help you get where you want to go faster – work on you! I won’t leave you hanging, here are a few of my absolute favorites:

My Biz Podcasts on repeat: Goal Digger, Hustle Humbly, The Voice of Social Sales, Online Marketing Made Easy, Skinny Confidential Him & Her, Almost 30, shall I go on?

For Books: Atomic Habits – James Clear (you will fill up a notebook of quotes), Stories that Stick – Kindra Hall, Do Less – Kate Northrup and Traction – Gino Wickman.

Want better systems and client communication? Create email templates and have boundaries for your biz! Check out this post about “responses for better boundaries” that you can steal and use with your own clients. For email templates, think about every step from first contact to closing (for both buyers and sellers) and create emails you can use on repeat to communicate seamlessly at each turning point.

Want to grow your database? Aka: Consistently get more eyeballs on your business (yes please)! Create GATED CONTENT. Gated content is a resource (checklist, guide, video training, etc) that you offer for free, in exchange for someone’s email address. 

How do you know what kind of free resource to create? Think of something that would be valuable to someone thinking about buying or selling. You could also create a free resource that would be helpful to a homeowner (they move too, you know)! Then take that piece of content to social media (list building AND serving at it’s finest)! 

Make sure you have a follow up plan in place once you have their email address so that you can stay in front of them on a regular basis (that’s how you get more eyeballs on your business)! Want to reach more people in your community? Create a local Facebook group. It can be anything from supporting local businesses to a virtual business owner’s book club.

Want to get more creative? Take a social media detox (you need to stop consuming), go for a walk, take a shower (seriously, my best ideas happen here), go for a drive with a coffee, change up your workspace (head to the local coffee shop), listen to a non-biz podcast, read a FICTION book, or open up a book of journal prompts.

Want to keep in touch with clients you haven’t talked to in awhile? Mail them a handwritten note or reach out via email! Your people want to hear from you! Share your favorite home essentials, tell them what you’ve been up to lately (a little life update), a list of local events or the best spots to grab brunch in town!

Remember this: If you want to change your life, change your routines. What do you need to add, remove or improve? You deserve to reach your goals. You’ve got this!!
