You have the IG followers. But when it comes to turning them into clients, you just haven’t cracked the code. It’s time to reassess your IG recipe! Here are my 4 KEY ingredients to an IG account that converts followers into clients!
1. A BIO THAT ISN’T BROAD
That means getting specific about who you help. When someone comes across your feed, they should know exactly who that is. Example: Swap “Call me for your real estate needs” to “I help first time home buyers buy their first home with confidence (and have fun while doing it)!”
2. A LINK IN YOUR BIO TO A PIECE OF VALUABLE CONTENT
Not a generic link to your real estate website. Do you have a free resource that a potential buyer or seller can request when they come across your account, like a 1st Time Buyer Bootcamp Guide? Coming from a place of service establishes instant trust & positions you as a resource. Mix in posts that provide value too – (weekly tips)!
3. POSTS ABOUT YOU
The human behind the for sale sign. If someone comes to your feed, they should be able to learn something about you, beyond what you sell. Whether it’s your love of yoga, your obsession with camouflage everything, the fact that you’re always buying all the things at Trader Joe’s. Let people in to get to know the real you. It gives your brand a personality & makes you more approachable! These are true statements about my mom that I helped her come up with using my brand menu strategy!
4. ALWAYS HAVE A HALO AROUND YOUR PROFILE PIC
This means being consistent on stories! Showing up on your stories is the inside secret to letting people in behind the scenes, making connections and turning followers into actual clients! Focus on showing up and sharing small parts of your day, everyday. It can be as simple as what your morning coffee order is or that you’re watching This Is Us with a glass of wine.
