In this very merry episode of Marketing Bar, in this episode I dive into holiday marketing strategies (that don’t require a ton of planning) AND why holiday marketing really works!
The best part, you don’t even have to SELL anything.
You can use this as an opportunity to:
• Bring attention and brand awareness to your business
• Grow your email list
• Grow your following
• Connect with other businesses
• Provide value to your community
• Stand out
WHY HOLIDAY MARKETING WORKS
There are many reasons contributing to the effectiveness of holiday marketing.
Nostalgia – the feelings and emotions around the holiday season make everyone more receptive
Closeness to the New Year – everyone wants a fresh start
It’s short lived – the urgency (around Black Friday especially) makes people act fast
Seasonal elements – they make everything so much more fun to create (and consume!)
Whether you try something BRAND NEW and use the holidays to sort of “test run it” or you take something you already have and re-package it – the options are endless.
Marketing during the holidays is SNOW MUCH FUN!
MY PLANS FOR BLACK FRIDAY
To prove that your holiday marketing doesn’t have to reinvent the wheel, I’m keeping my plans for Black Friday simple. And repackaging a few pieces from the Modern Agent Social Club content library, and selling them individually! Here’s what I’ve put together:
- December Content Pack (content templates)
- 12 Days of Christmas (lead magnet)
- If [Your City Name] Was a Christmas Movie (social media series)
- PLUS – an option to bundle all three and save $$
These content pieces from Modern Agent Social Club are for agents who aren’t quite ready to commit to a year long membership, but still want pieces of the membership to experiment, grow their following, increase engagement, and build their database.
